I detected once before in England and because of my lack of knowledge was disappointed in my finds. It was the start of many fine days in the field finding coins, relics and artifacts. We landed at the airport in the morning and were in the field that afternoon for a few hours of detecting. This was my first detecting tour with Roy and based on the fun and excitement that I had it certainly won't be my last. Other people on our trips have found Celtic gold staters, Saxon silver coins, etc.
I have found many Roman, English hammered and milled coins along with all types of Celtic, Roman, Saxon, Viking and English artifacts. The camaraderie and sharing of information, stories and good humor is special. Everybody has a separate motel room, but we all can eat breakfast and dinner together at the restaurant. The trips start with being picked up at LHR with other members of your group. Roy is a legend with his expertise, experience and knowledge that both he and Mark share freely. Each Ultimate skill has its own required Charge amount, but the speed at which you gain charge can be increased (or reduced) by external effects such as Gear, Skills and etc.My detecting trip with Roy was as perfect a trip, in every respect, as a trip could possibly be. Ultimate skills start with no Charge, and it is built up by dealing damage to enemies, healing allies, and also by taking damage. The use of Ultimate Skills are not governed by Cooldown, but by Charge. This time is the Cooldown time.Ībilities have their built-in Cooldowns, but they can usually be reduced (or increased) by external effects such as Gear, Skills and etc. With the exception of Ultimate skills, you need to wait some time after casting before you can use the skill again. Non-Passive Skills cannot be used freely. The most powerful ability at a Hunter's disposal, the Ultimate skills are often game-changing and are usually activated by pressing L1+R1 / LB+RB / 4-Key. The only skill that is not available when a match starts, and is not controlled by Cooldown (see Cooldown and Ultimate Charge below). Usually mapped to the same button that executes standard melee attacks (Circle/B/E-Key), it is only activated when the attack connects with a valid target. Melee skills are abilities that are triggered by a melee attack.
Mobility skills are abilities that involve movement and displacement. They can be "charged" by holding down on the activation button. Usually mapped to R1/RB/1-Key.Ĭharge skills are offensive/active abilities that have an aiming or placement component. Utility skills are strategic/situational abilities that don't require aiming at the moment they are used. The passive skill is always active, and usually affects the Hunter's Stats. Skills are special abilities that can change the entire flow of the game, and can be customized and enhanced by items, creating different "builds".Įach Hunter has 6 different skills on their kit, each mapped to a different button or combination of buttons (except the Passive one, which is always active).
